We process personal data in accordance with the GDPR and the data protection provisions applicable in Austria.
Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person
(e.g. name, address, email address, phone number, booking and stay data).
When you visit our website, the web server processes technically necessary data (e.g. IP address, date/time,
page accessed, referrer URL, browser/OS). The purpose is the secure and stable operation of the website, error analysis and protection against misuse.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest).
If you contact us by email, telephone or via messaging services (e.g. WhatsApp), we process the data you provide
(e.g. name, contact details, content of the message) to handle your inquiry.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures/contract performance) and/or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (general communication).
Note: Messaging services are provided by third parties; their data protection policies also apply.
To manage bookings, reservations, stays, guest services, billing and to fulfil legal obligations,
we use a hotel and guest management system provided by CapCorn GmbH. In particular, master data and contact details,
booking and stay data as well as legally required registration data are processed. In addition, technical usage data
may be processed to ensure system operation.
Processing takes place on the provider’s servers. CapCorn acts as a processor pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract performance), Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR (legal obligations),
where applicable Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (proper hotel and guest operations).
If guests pay online by credit or debit card, payment processing is handled by certified external payment service providers
integrated into the booking/hotel management system. We do not receive access to complete card or payment data
(e.g. credit card number). Such data is processed exclusively by the respective payment service provider.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract performance).
If you book via an external booking platform (e.g. Booking.com), we receive from the respective platform
the booking and contact details required to perform the accommodation contract. Data processing by the respective
booking platform is carried out under its own responsibility and is subject to its privacy policy.
In the course of further processing your stay, we may ask guests for additional personal data, in particular for
legally required registration data (e.g. date of birth) and for supplementary contact information (e.g. email address), insofar as this
is necessary for contract performance, guest services or tourist services.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract performance) and Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR (legal obligations).
If guests are provided with a guest card (e.g. JOKER CARD), personal data (e.g. name, date of birth,
nationality, country of origin/address, accompanying persons as well as arrival and departure day) may be processed for identification in the system.
This data may be transmitted to the tourism association, participating service partners (e.g. mountain railways) and the system operator (CapCorn).
By using the card, entries with service partners are recorded and stored for billing purposes for a limited period; deletion/anonymisation generally takes place at year-end.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (provision of tourist services) or consent, where required.
As part of tourist services, guests may receive a mobility card and/or access to digital guest services.
To use these services, registration or login in the official Saalbach app „Home of Lässig“ may be required.
In this context, personal data such as name, stay period, accommodation and the status as an eligible guest may be transmitted to the responsible tourism association and/or
the app operator.
Use of the app is voluntary. We have no influence on the type, scope and further processing of data within the app.
The app operator is solely responsible for data processing. The privacy policies of the tourism association and/or the app operator apply.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (provision of tourist services) and Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (voluntary use of the app).
Our website includes a booking and information widget from Heli’s Ski Rental & School.
When the widget is loaded, a connection to the provider’s servers is established. Personal data such as IP address,
device and browser information as well as usage data may be processed.
If bookings/reservations are made via the widget, the data you enter is transmitted directly to the provider.
We have no influence on the type and scope of further data processing by this provider.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in convenient holiday and service planning) or
Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent), if integrated on a consent basis.
An EV charging station is available to guests on our premises. Use of the charging station and billing
of the charging process are handled by Salzburg AG under an existing contract.
Personal data (e.g. charging time, energy consumption, identification and payment data) is processed exclusively by Salzburg AG.
We do not have access to users’ payment or billing data. Salzburg AG is solely responsible for data processing in connection with the charging process.
The privacy policy of Salzburg AG applies.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of the user contract / charging process).

are set only with your consent via the cookie banner. You can revoke or adjust your consent at any time.
In connection with external systems (e.g. CapCorn or embedded service widgets), cookies or similar technologies may be used
that are necessary for the functionality of these systems.
If you consent, we use Google Analytics to analyse the use of our website. Usage data may be transmitted to Google servers.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent).
Note: Transfers to third countries (e.g. USA) may occur.
If you consent, we integrate Google Maps to display maps and to make it easier to find our apartments.
Data may be transmitted to Google.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent).
Google reviews are integrated on our website to give guests an impression of other visitors’ experiences.
Google reviews are displayed only after your prior consent via the cookie banner.
When reviews are loaded, content from Google is embedded. Personal data such as IP address as well as device and browser information
may be transmitted to Google. The names and profile images shown in reviews come from Google user accounts. Publication of this information
is controlled by Google based on the settings chosen by the reviewing users.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent).
We use Adobe Fonts (Typekit) to display fonts consistently. Adobe may receive technical data (e.g. IP address/browser data) to provide
the fonts.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in an attractive presentation) or – if controlled via the cookie banner –
Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent).
Our website contains links to external third-party websites (e.g. Facebook, Instagram or online shops of partner businesses). When merely visiting our website, no data is transferred to these external providers. Only when you actively click on such a link do the privacy policies of the respective operators apply.
Our website uses SSL/TLS encryption (HTTPS) to ensure the secure transmission of your data.
We store personal data only as long as necessary for the respective purposes and/or as long as statutory retention obligations apply. Afterwards, the data is deleted or anonymised.
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure (where permitted), restriction of processing, data portability, withdrawal of consent given, and to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority.
